A former stable block converted in 2017 into a stunning studio apartment overlooking a vineyard in Barranco Ferrer (in the municipality of Rubite), with access to the owner's private pool and hot tub, and only 7km from the lovely beaches of the Costa Tropical. Best of both worlds from only €30 per night! Big enough for a child's bed or a travel cot at an additional small charge.
This was a brand new stable conversion, completed for the 2017 season.
It boasts a comfortable double bed, a fully equipped kitchen (with electric 3-hobs and an oven), a washing machine for long stays, and a fully equipped bathroom with shower. WIFI is also included.
Overlooking the valley beyond the village, the Vine Studio is above one of the village vineyards, and Mike and Lucy will leave you a complimentary bottle of their delicious organic and natual red wine, made from the very grapes you can see growing outside your window.
It has parking next door, a private terrace with BBQ, and is just a few metres away from the shared pool and hot tub.
Owners Mike and Lucy live in the village and are always on hand to offer advice or help on what to see and do in this beautiful part of Spain.
Please note, car hire is essential, as the village is only accessed by crossing a dried up river bed and then climbing up a 1.5km tarmacked track/narrow road. Many villages in this part of Spain have similar access roads, and this all adds to the charm of life in rural and unspoilt Spain.
The nearest town is Castell de Ferro, on the coast 7km away. There you will find all modern conveniences.
