Positive: Incredibly beautiful landscaping — a true oasis in the desert. Although the hotel is a little older, everything is exceptionally well maintained, with continuous care, fresh paint, and ongoing improvements. The staff are extremely friendly and genuinely eager to please. Service is consistently attentive throughout the resort, and even at the beach and pool you’re looked after with drinks delivered right to your chair. The buffet restaurant is excellent, offering a huge selection of dishes. The local specialties are particularly delicious. The bars are also very enjoyable, serving well-made drinks included in the all-inclusive package. This was our seventh stay, and the resort continues to improve year after year. Some of the nicest recent upgrades include: * the newly heated main pool * the exceptionally friendly and welcoming front office/reception * the noticeably improved food quality in the main buffet restaurant * the WIFI A wonderful stay once again — and clearly still on an upward trend.

Negative: The house reef is slowly dying. This is clearly not the hotel’s fault — they protect it well — but it’s still sad to see. Charging for certain items in the minibar feels unnecessary in an all-inclusive hotel and creates some uncertainty for guests.
