Totally free in the mountains and 20 minutes drive from the Mediterranean Sea lies our holiday home La Alcandora. A place to charge your battery, to be creative and to be amazed. You are 850 meters high and overlooks the Mediterranean Sea in the south and on the north side on the highest mountain peaks of the Sierra Nevada. For cooling down there is "the little pool". Furthermore, you can discover the Alpujarras of Granada by car with its beautiful Moorish "Pueblos Blancos". This is a very authentic and mountainous area, the foothills of the Sierra Nevada to the sea. Here you can enjoy wonderful walks through the mountains or the Mediterranean Sea. On the coast are small typical Spanish baths in various bays. Also in 1 1/2 hours to the city of Granada where you can not miss the "Alhambra". In the same area is our farm with 5 hectares of land where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Here we have almonds, figs, olives, saffron, organic, wine and a vegetable garden. We have enjoyed ourselves for 13 years. We live in Sorvik village, 2 km from Het Vakantiehuis. The climate is sunny, very soft and dry (no muscitos)
In the summer it is beautifully sunny but due to its location never too hot and in winter there is a lot of sunshine which causes the temperature to rise to about 20 degrees.
