Built in 2016, this architect designed, contemporary 3 bedroomed whitewashed villa is detached with its own private pool and garden.
Sitting in an elevated position in Velez de Benaudalla close to the Moorish castle, with stunning views of the village, surrounding olive groves and the snow capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada, the property enjoys an ideal location, with local tapas bars, shops and a restaurant all within walking distance.
The kitchen is fitted to a high standard with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and coffee machine. This leads into the dining room with its floor to ceiling glazing providing views of the garden and surrounding hills. From this room you have access to the garden and pool, which has a full range of furniture for outside relaxing and dining. There is a ground floor toilet and outside there is an external pool side shower and kitchen area with BBQ.
The living room has air conditioning and a fireplace for the winter, TV with Netflix and free Wifi hub.
Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms all with air conditioning. The master double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with double shower and the second and third bedrooms have smaller double beds and share a ‘Jack & Jill’ bathroom with shower.
Just off the large landing there is the washing machine in an enclosed laundry area with iron and ironing board, portable clothes drying rack etc.
There is parking in front of the property for 2 cars and further parking in the gated drive.
Please note this house is not suitable for small children as the pool is not fenced. The two bedrooms with smaller double beds are ideally suited to single occupancy, hence the house very comfortably can accommodate 2 couples / 4 guests.
It is just a 15 minute drive to the beach at Salobrena, a coastal hilltop pueblo blanco (white town) which has a historical Moorish castle in the old town and wide range of restaurants and amenities. Close to Salobrena also on the coast is Playa Granada with wide ranging beach bars and a golf course. Near by you will find Motril, a small city with all amenities including a port with ferries to Morocco, beaches and hypermarkets.
Granada is a 30-minute drive away giving easy access to the number one tourist destination in Spain – the Alhambra Palace. It is just a one hour drive to the Sierra Nevada Ski area.
Granada airport is 40 minutes by car, Malaga airport 1 hour and 10 mins and Almeria airport 1 hour and 20 mins
