Its large lounge and open fire make a comfortable place to relax in the evenings. From its roof terrace and lounge there are stunning views across the Poqueira valley, up to the high Sierra mountains, snow-covered for much of the year, down to the Mediterranean coast. From the front door you can walk down to the next village (Bubion) for coffee; or down to the Poqueira river (1 hour) or across the valley and up into the mountains. A walker's paradise. For those on wheels a short drive up to the entrance to the National Park will reward you with views of the Mediterranean and even the African coastline and mountains on a clear day.
