Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Fantastic views of the Mar Menor and over to the Mediterranean/Cabo de Palos. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a meal, looking at the views. Very well-run complex (Verdemar), cleaned each day, wonderful pool, really close to the beach and some nice bars. Fifth floor, good lift, generally felt secure.

Negative: Some small maintenance issues could have been dealt with after I mentioned them in the "first impressions" questionaire that was sent to me by the agent. Eg the bidet tap wasn´t working. It got fixed but after 2 weeks, when I needed to have the back door mended and mentioned it again. Also, the fridge took me over an hour to defrost when I arrived, which isn´t what you want when you get to a property.

Summary: Nice stay, wonderful views and good complex near to the beach and bars.
