Summary: We chose Santa Petronila for our yearly family reunion of 18 members, and we have just come back from a wonderful weekend at the Vineyard. When we arrived we were struck by the peace and silence in the country side, by the wonderful views of the vines, and the nearly 300 year old house with a lot of soul. The decoration is unsofisticated buy very proper for the environment, with its high ceilings, stone walls and old floor tiles. The bedroooms are of medium size, with good beds, and the kitchen, well equiped, is part of the big living room. The outdoors are wonderful, with a small pool and a nice BBQ area. We spent most time outdoor, and did some niche walks around the vineyards around. We had a great time together, and the peak moment was the wine tasting event the owners organized in the small next door Bodega, with excellent Sherry wines.
