You share the vista of the mountains with your neighbour, but otherwise there is enough space and privacy for everyone. Half-height hedges form a natural boundary fence (and there is also an alarm system with cameras available for your use). The long access drive leads to the outdoor stair entrance of your villa "Llum", where you are welcomed by two marble cherubs, who are ready to pour a cornucopia of amenities over you. You are most certain to fall in love with the airy pool pavilion at first glance as it provides you with privacy and protection against the wind and sun, both covered and uncovered; it is also lovely to sit under the pillars near the house on the wicker sofa or at the table, to eat breakfast in the peace and quiet, to enjoy a barbecue evening, or to reflect on the highlights of a day on the beach. The unsecured, slightly elevated terrace is not recommended as suitable for small children.
The house appears to be a bit convoluted when seen from the back. But the interior rooms follow a pleasantly clear structure. Although it was built several years ago, this villa is no old biddy! Moreover, it displays itself as a rustic jewellery box with high-quality contents, whose lower level is available to Mallorca holidaymakers (the upper level is not rented out). Cosy two-seaters and armchairs are situated throughout the lounge so that you can be together without sitting in each other's laps. The spacious eat-in kitchen also offers another alternative with a couch and second television and the table that looks inviting, and not just at meal times: there won't be any arguing over the TV programme or the best "grandstand seats". The four air-conditioned cosy bedrooms are functionally furnished, the two modern inside bathrooms (one en-suite) are wonderfully equipped; they have a (corner) bathtub or shower and glisten with lots of marble and sturdy wooden cabinets. In addition, as already mentioned, there are the outside facilities, so that everyone can get refreshed at any time. Speaking of winning: "Llum" has certainly earned a prize in the category of "recommended holiday domicile"!

Every day you have the choice of what gem you prefer: Manacor or the sea, city or beach life, hitting the pavement or chilling, anything you fancy based on the refrigerator fullness levels or the weather report. As one of the island metropolises, Manacor has quite a bit to offer: old patrician houses, palace buildings like the Torre dels Enagistes ("Tower of the Jesuits", now a museum) and old windmills compete with colourful weekly markets, the Majorica pearl factory, and pedestrian areas for shopping, cafés, and restaurants. The train and buses chauffeur you from here in every direction so that a trip to Palma can be a relaxing affair.
