Positive: I stayed at Mulberi Homestay in Port Dickson and overall had a good experience. I liked that there were many rooms, most of them with air-conditioning, except for the room downstairs which didn’t have one. Extra mattresses were provided, but the extra bedsheets had an unpleasant smell. The house was clean, and the host was very responsive and helpful. Self check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. Would recommend with a few minor improvements.

Negative: I stayed at Mulberi Homestay in Port Dickson during the Deepavali holiday. Overall, the stay was good, but there are some things that could be improved. The house has many rooms, which is great, and most of them have air-conditioning—except for the room downstairs. I suggest adding an air-conditioner and a proper bed to that room, and maybe moving the wardrobe outside to create more sleeping space. Extra mattresses were provided, but unfortunately, the extra bedsheets had a bad smell. However, the bidet in the upstairs bathroom was broken, there was no towel hook, and the bathroom was quite dark. The other two toilets were much better. One major downside was the fireworks in the neighborhood during Deepavali. People were lighting fireworks until 2 a.m., which made it hard for my child to sleep as he kept getting startled by the loud noises. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and I appreciate the effort by the host. Just a few improvements would make it even better.
