Magnificent and spacious Moorish house of 1525 rehabilitated with the original materials of the house. It is located on the Paseo de los Tristes, at the foot of the Alhambra, in the Barrio del Albaicín. Daily cleaning service included in the price, except in the month of August.
The house is originally from 1525, immediately after the conquest, and belonged to a Muslim military who took the Christianized name of Gavidia Atienza. It was rehabilitated at the end of the 90s using the original materials of the house, such as its columns, footings, flask bricks and maintaining the original cistern that received the water from the Aynadamar Fountain (Fountain of Tears). We have tried to preserve the style and atmosphere of an exciting time for us in a city full of charm, charm and mystery.
It has three floors and a large terrace and a viewpoint, both with views of the Alhambra, the Sacromonte neighborhood and the zirí wall. There is central heating and WiFi throughout the house.

The FIRST FLOOR has three bedrooms, all very spacious and with their own bathroom, and one of them with an interior patio.
The first of the rooms has a small private patio full of plants and flowers and an Arab-inspired fountain, a beautiful canopy double bed of 150x180, bathroom with original tiles from the s. XV and bathtub, air conditioning, television, stereo and for the most artistic, a wall piano.
Another room, the largest, has a dressing room and an impressive bathroom with an oval bathtub. The bed is 200x200 and has television and air conditioning.
The last room on this floor faces the facade, has its own bathroom with a bathtub and has a 150x200 bed. It has air conditioning and television.
On the SECOND FLOOR there is a cozy living room with two rooms, one of them with spectacular views of the Alhambra. It has Television and DVD. From this living room you access the terrace, flooded with plants and decorated with industrial style furniture. From it you can contemplate the Alhambra almost as if you were playing. You can also climb to another sun terrace overlooking the neighborhood of Sacromonte, Albayzín Alto and the zirí wall.

The house is available in its entirety to the user, except for a small studio that is located on the second floor and the basement, where the machine room is located.
The guest will have the number of bedrooms requested, depending on the number of people and the use they want to give (double or single), as indicated below.
Even when the house has five bedrooms for two people each, in double beds in all cases, there will be as many bedrooms as necessary depending on the number of guests. In any case, if you wish to have the fifth bedroom, the rate to be applied will be that corresponding to ten people.
We include in the price the daily cleaning service of the house (except during the month of August, in which the house will be delivered in perfect condition and must be kept by the guest during his stay), both in the common areas and in the rooms. This service, although included in the price is mandatory. Rakía, of Moroccan origin, will be the person in charge of these tasks, and if they need to have some clothes washed, she will also take care of it.
