Welcome to Cortijos Rey Fini, Alpujarras in the heart of Sierra Nevada Andalusia, Southern Spain. Three detached self-catering holiday villas known as Cortijos with swimming pool located between the historic city of Granada and the Mediterranean coast known as costa tropical.
The self-catering accommodation is situated between the villages of Busquistar and Trevelez and 25 km from the town of Orgiva. These 3 self-catering villas or cottages also locally known as casa rural are located in the heart of Las Alpujarras in the National Park in Sierra Nevada near Granada, Andalusia.
The unique geographical location makes it ideal and within reach of the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean to the south as well as the Alhambra in Granada to the north.
The self-catering cottages offer accommodation in three separate detached cottages, capable of sleeping 12 people, all in grounds of 16 acres. Each cottage is independent with it's own kitchen, bathroom, washing machine etc. Each cottage has its own individual outdoor terrace area with bbq for eating and relaxing outside. The large swimming pool is filled from a natural spring water stream. There is lots of room around the pool for relaxing, both in and out of the sun with sun loungers and other furniture. The gardens and grounds are extensive with a large lawn providing ample space for running about and playing games and the garden connects directly with the national park which makes hiking easy and accessible. Guests are encouraged to wander freely and explore.
There is also a peaceful shaded area with various 500 year old chestnut trees, ideal for meditation, yoga and relaxation. There is also a wood burning pizza/bread oven which guests are encouraged to use as well as a ping pong table.
The white villages of Bubion, Capileira and Pampaneira on the slopes of Sierra Nevada of Andalucia are only a short drive away, the town of Orgiva is approx. 30 minutes and the famous Alhambra in Granada are over an hour away. It is ideally located for the beaches of Salobrena, Calahonda and La Herradura which are also over an hour away. The new highway running from Malaga airport to Almeria and Cabo de Gata passes through Motril near Orgiva which means a journey from Malaga to our Cortijos is now just over two hours.
