Positive: We spent 8 nights at Cortijo Ohana in July with 2 families and 1 adult. All in all we had a great time together. The location was perfect for us - very remote, but still you are at the beach or in town in 15-30 minutes. And only 1 hour from Malaga and Granada. The view from the house is amazing! The house itself is very spacious, especially the living room and kitchen. Communication with the owner via whatsapp worked very well. There is air condition in 3 of the 4 bedrooms and in the living room. The roofed parking spaces are also a nice touch. There are 2 bathrooms with showers which are nicely renovated and one smaller WC with a kids shower. The pool has a great size and was great to use especially in the mornings.

Negative: Unfortunately, there were a couple of things which were disappointing to us: the 4th bedroom is attached to the living room and has no ceiling - so you can hear all the noise and the aircon isn‘t sufficient to cool this huge space down. For us this meant that this bedroom wasn‘t really usable. Many of the beds and linen are not of great quality and most beds are too short (180-190cms) which was a problem for us. The kitchen contains everything you need, but is only half done - no cupboard fronts and backs, cables hanging out etc. Also much of the outside space is pretty rough/not yet finished. While the terrace and pool were great to use in the mornings, the afternoons were way too hot. I know it was Spain in July, but there was just not enough shadow and the pool was too hot as there was no fresh water supply/exchange. This could be handled with adding a proper shadow roof and some new umbrellas. Also important to note: one of the bathrooms is an ensuite, so only 1 couple can use it well and the other bathroom has to be shared by the other guests.

Summary: Good stay with room for improvement.
