La Mata town centre is a pleasant 10 minutes walk along the beach boardwalk for shopping, local Spanish restaurants, supermarket, banks, & street markets.
The local town of Torrevieja has bowling, go-carting, cinema, restaurants and the Habaneras shopping centre. Also there is a night market down by the marina, water-park and fun-fair. La Mata beach has Pedaloes for hire on the beach in summer.

The villa has everything you need including a luxury ice making fridge/freezer, (additional large fridge /freezer in the bar) 2 big screen TV's, multiple air-con units, Gas BBQ, choice of outdoor eating areas, and a large indoor dining table that comfortably seats 12.
Only minutes walk to all local amenities - shops, bars, supermarkets with a good selection of beach front restaurants, or beach bars for those requiring the more casual refreshments! You can sit and enjoy a cold drink / tapas with your feet in the sand! or try one of the many restaurants on the boardwalk.
If you can drag yourself away from the Private Pool there is also a very enjoyable Aqua Park a short drive away, or catch the local bus to the 'traditional Spanish Town' of Torrevieja. (15 minutes away)
For a day trip Historic cities such as Cartagena, Murcia , Guadalest and Albacete are within 30-60min drive.
