Positive: Everything I needed was within walking distance. The apartment was well equipped. The view was nice.

Negative: I had to email the owner a few times, but not once did that person say 'Bonjour, Bonsoir, Merci'. So, I felt uncomfortable. The constant smell of tabaco on the landing outside of the apartment's door drifted in under the apartment's door. I, therefore, had to leave the window-door ajar all the time to allow the smell to escape. I'm asthmatic too. To retrieve the key may seem practical in theory to the owner, but it isn't. I'm a 51 year old woman, I travelled, that day, alone from Córdoba in Spain by train, then bus, and finally by taxi and arrived at 1.30am in the morning, with lots of luggage. After I paid my taxi fare I was then alone in the dark, I had to retrace my way back to the entrance of the port from the outside of the apartment building, as that is where the Key Retrieval instructions started from, that meant leaving my luggage unattended behind a car. I wasn't even sure at that point where the entrance to the port was due to having arrived in a taxi that got lost a couple of times searching for the apartment building. After finding the entrance to the port, I could finally begin to follow the key retrieval instructions that led me to the keys in the darkest corner of a carpark. To open the keybox was difficult, not only because it was pitch black, but because it was stiff to open. Finally I retrieved the keys and headed back to where I'd left my luggage, and got to the apartment's door only to find that one of the apartment's door keys (as there are two locks) doesn't work as well as it should, therefore delaying me further. Once I got into the apartment, I found that the bed wasn't made up properly. And the pillows for the bed were in bad shape too, old and limp and should be replaced. The hot water is dangerous, it's far too hot.
